Its Origin

In May, 2001 Marcelo Glickman, and a time later is gotten up Ariel Brusadin.
Established the company CHIK CHAK LUMP CHARCOAL in Córdoba, a city of 1.5 million inhabitants, in the center of Argentina.

The mission of the company is to produce and export the highest quality all-natural hardwood charcoal at the lowest cost, while providing the best possible service.
On the basis of this statement, the company and its product CHIK CHAK LUMP CHARCOAL are known all over the world as a supplier of charcoal in special packaging.

In this sense, in 2001, a special carton with self-light wick was created for its use with the CHIK CHAK LUMP CHARCOAL. Although this was developed only a few years ago, the carton is being now intensively manufactured in the company’s facilities in Córdoba, Argentina.

Growth

The growth resulting from the high demand of the CHIK CHAK LUMP CHARCOAL products led to the transfer of the production activities to the community of Villa del Totoral, 90 Km. to the North of the city of Córdoba.

With an enterprising attitude, and accepting the challenges of globalization, CHIK CHAK LUMP CHARCOAL centered its attention in Europe and Israel, where the company made business contacts to allow for the products insertion in these markets.

Likewise, the company continues to search for expansion opportunities, tending to extend its offer into Europe and the Near East, as well as to open other markets, with the permanent purpose of satisfying the demand observed in new scenarios.
